Meet the Animator Behind the Magic

Q: Tell us about yourself and your role at GIANTS Software.
A: I’m Rahul Narode, Senior Animator at GIANTS Software. I worked on various animations for Farming Simulator 25, ensuring they met our standards before integrating them into the game.

Q: How do you approach the animation process?
A: I begin by fully understanding the requirements for each animal—studying their characteristics, observing their movements, and collecting reference materials. I search for video references that capture real animal behavior to ensure every detail is accurate. After gathering enough data, I start animating and go through multiple revisions until the animations meet our quality standards.

Q: What unique behaviors do baby animals exhibit, and what challenges do they pose in animation?
A: Baby animals have quick, playful movements that make them challenging to animate. Capturing their swift energy with keyframe animation is difficult but essential for bringing them to life authentically.

Q: Do you have a favorite baby animal in the game, and why?
A: My favorite baby animals in Farming Simulator 25 are the baby goats. Their playful hopping and energetic antics are adorable. Personally, though, I love rabbits—they’re small, fast, and their ear movements are fascinating.

Q: Any final thoughts for fans?
A: We’ve poured a lot of effort into making Farming Simulator 25 a unique experience. I hope our fans and players enjoy it as much as we enjoyed creating it!
