Jaguar EBRC V1.0

The Jaguar EBRC (Engin Blindé de Reconnaissance et de Combat) is a modern 6×6 armored reconnaissance and combat vehicle developed for the French Army. It is a key component of France’s SCORPION modernization program, designed to replace older platforms like the AMX-10 RC and the ERC 90 Sagaie.

Drive: 6×6 configuration with rear-wheel steering for high maneuverability in urban and mountainous terrain.

Role and Design

The Jaguar is optimized for reconnaissance and fire support in complex environments. It features an advanced network-centric architecture, integrating with the French Army’s SICS (Système d’Information du Combat SCORPION) to share real-time battlefield data with other units.

While it shares some tactical roles with other wheeled platforms, its combination of heavy firepower (40mm cannon + Akeron MP) and high-tech sensor suite is specifically intended to provide French and Belgian cavalry regiments with a decisive advantage in modern “hunt-to-kill” engagements.
